So theres a local shop selling rebuilt nv4500's for 2 grand. It says rebuilt with all updates and a 1 year unlimited mile warranty. Does that sound like a normal price for a 5 speed? Not to familar with these things so I have no idea. Im wanting to make the swap from auto to stick! thanks guys!

 

rebuilts all day long on ebay for 900-1500 and brand new ones for 1695.

The new ones have free shipping and no core. I am in the same boat as you and i have been all over looking for one that won't send me to the poor house!

1195.00 ... not to shabby, Comes with a 12 month unlimited milage warentee, and they also have a 36 month warentee avaliable too .. been thinking about a manual swap ..

 

But you still need a core with it.
