Dosent the Tv cable also deal with sift firmness ?

mine was shifting late and then i replaced the speed sensor ... only to have it doing it again ... so i changed out the plug and now shifting good ... like it should

throttle valve pressure is the opposing forse of govoner pressure. if one of the values is off you get a flair or a real late shift. because it is alowing a shift before there is enough pressure to hold the clutches or too late when way more pressure is needed and you have to rev the thing out real far to overcome the pressure. thats why it is better to have too tight of a cable vrs to late. to tight and it shifts hard and late to loose and it shifts early and very soft which is the slipping clutches/flare.

I understand what yor sayin ... ,ime is tight there is only a smidge of slack now .... seems to shift real nice , firm but not jarring, it was sparratic at best before i noticed the plug on the speed sensor was messed up .....

... today is locked up and i dragged it all the was to 950 and then slowly back up to 2K ... LOL.... 5" sounds so beasty
