Default 14 or 16CM Exhaust housing

I am looking for either a 14 or 16cm exhaust housing for my h1c that currently has a 21 on it. Guy I bought the engine from must have swapped it out on me before he sold it to me.

Let me know what you have.
Feel free to text me at 208-EightSixThree-7411

Thanks
Jeff

Are you sure it's a 21cm housing? Something doesn't sound right

Yeah I am sure it is a 21CM housing. The 89-93 H1C turbos came with either a 21cm housing on the automatic trucks or a 18cm housing on the manuals. In 94 Dodge realized that they were vastly too big and started putting 12cm housing on the manual trans trucks and I am not sure but I think it was either a 16 or 18 on the automatic trucks. Either way I know the housing did not come off of the year engine that I have and the guy I bought it from swore up and down that it was however he changed his signature on a different forum to say that he changed his turbo recently and coincidentally enough it was to the turbo that should have been on my engine.... So I am now looking for either a 16 or 14 to replace the 21 on my truck because like you guys said it is huge and it literally builds no boost before I have to shift so I am basically running a naturally aspirated Cummins right now....

Thanks
Jeff

Holset has a 16cm non waste gated housing on the market. You could prolly find one on eBay if you wanted to go that route. I'm no turbo guru so im sure someone else on here will have a better idea for you.

go with a wastegated 14cm housing ... or pick up a hx35 off a 24v stick and put that on will cost a bit more than the housing but you will have much better results

Was that meant for an industrial application?
