I've been running a 80/20 wvo mix in my 96 12v changing filters regularly for about 4 months but this week I feel that crud has gotten past the filter. I filled up with diesel last week to take a break from the wvo changed filter and all was good by the end of this week I'm loosing power again so I change filter again with not much improvement. Question is where to go from here? Can I get to enough in the injection pump to be of any benefit by cleaning it out or am I stuck pulling it and sending in for overhaul? Or where else should I be searching damaged fuel lines perhaps? Thanks for any and all help

run a steady diet of atf through it ... detergents should clean er out ... if not ... repost

veggie oil is the worst stuff ive seen. neat idea with expensive outcomes. i hate the crap. almost all the injectors and injections pumps ive taken apart need overhauled if the customer has been running this stuff. ya its cheaper than diesel from the pump, until you trash a $2000 pump and need a $500 set of injectors and a fuel system flush. ditch the veggie oil and run good old #2 (which sucks nowa days) and some good additive. ATF, clean engine oil ect on each tank. more times than not the injectors are effected before the pump get way bad. ide take the injectors out take them to a shop and have them tested. you probably have sticky/leaky nozzles.

I agree with turbo , most people don't filter the WVO enough and end up with glycerin in the pump and INJ..... which is never a good thing ... if not for that I believe WVO is kewl ... and I have seen many trucks and cars doing over 500K with out issues to speak of ... it depends on quality of fuel I believe
