i have or had a bone stock cummins 12v 1996 it had the stock break off pin and i finally got it out and looked at the plate and the plate was already pushed all the way up and had a upside down #6 on the plate but the plate did not look like the plates you by aftermarket it was thinner and the number and line under the number to mark a #6 was crooked as if some one made there own plate and put the stock break off pin back in like from the factory i put a #8 plate in and it has twice the guts as before with the so called #6 any ideas why it was like that

They put the tamper proof screw back in?! Sounds like somebody was trying to protect their warranty way back in the day.

i did i threw a #8 i got from a diesel pump up shop im working on getting a 0 but cant seem to find were to get one

 

Grind one .... real simple ..... go to Nwbombers and type in fuel plate and u should find a link.....
