Default transmission cooler advice

I'm looking into getting a good trans cooler for a 95 ram 2500. I see quite a few on the market but just wanted some extra advice on which ones would be the best to go with. close to 4 grand went into rebuilding the transmission and wasn't sure if I should go with a standard trans cooler or get something a little fancier. I see some of these nice ones have an auxillary fan in front them but was curious if anyone had any good or bad experiences with them. The truck has over 200k on it, straight piped exhaust and cold air intake that's it. any input would be nice thankyou.

I have a bm super cooler with a fan in line after the heat exchanger on the motor.
My original cooler in frount of the rad was gone when i got the truck with a bad trans.
It does a great job of cooling my trans temp nevr goes over 180 in hot weather.

should be real simple .... anyone with a set of sockets and a drill can do it .. and a screw drive to tighten up a few clamps ...

ATF+4 is a fully synthetic fluid. (Refering to 727 based transmissions), Dodge used to recommend Dexron III but they changed their recommendation on all of those transmissions to ATF+4, even the transmissions that called for Dexron when they were first manufactured.

Benefits or ATF+4 are:
Better anti-wear properties
Improved rust/corrosion prevention
Controls oxidation
Eliminates deposits
Controls friction
Retains anti-foaming properties
Superior properties for low temperature operation

With all the stress the Cummins puts on the transmission I would use ATF+4 to help it last longer.

So I ordered a B&M super cooler and am impresed by it. before I do the install though I wanted to know couple questions, what size trans hose should I use, is it 5/8'', 1/2'',5/16''? its not a bright question but trucks not in front of me and trying togetnecessary components ordered.

Also, can't decide if I should incorporate the factory cooler thats in the front driver side next to condenser or... should I just by-pass and delete that old thing?
