Don't remember what my 4" MBRP was. I want to say $265 shipped, but I'm not sure. I didn't like it, sounded like crap. Much better with the MBRP muffler.

I think there seems to be a communication discrepancy regarding the definition of terms in this topic. Regardless, $369 sounds high for a straight pipe to me too, unless it was stainless, which would make it the bargain of the century. I assume an exhaust is turbo to tailpipe unless otherwise specified, and I think Luke does as well. Regardless, my MBRP fit like a dream also. Everything lined up like it was custom bent right there in the shop, every hanger was spot on and the pipes fit together like they were machined from billet. It just sounded like a really pissed off school bus, and I was tired of schoolkids thinking I was their ride coming from two blocks away on my morning commute.

It wasn't the loud, so much as... ok, it was the loud. But I could have tolerated the loud if it didn't sound like crap. I've never heard a straight piped truck I liked, not in any size pipe, stacks, nothing. Although I have to admit, I do miss hearing that turbo whistle itself to a stop out the tailpipe when I shut it down now, muffler sort of killed that little nugget. It's worth it to not sound like a giant farting into a paper bag over a PA system though.

just want to mention, you might want to pull off the primer and lift pump and fuel pre heater, they might be gummed up with diesel goop from the decades of running, sitting, bad diesel, veg oil.. whatever.. i had to do this on the road, 300 miles outside of austin after 1400 miles of driving fine and then, fuel starvation. pulled em out, soaked them in parts cleaner overnight(sleeping in my truck) pulled all the hardlines off and reemed them out with ss wire i had. blasted them out with compressed air. put it all back together and ran fine untill i got to austin and it felt like particles hit one injector, then progressively plugged them all up. got pics of the goo being pulled outa the parts, if anybody wanna see?

so now my trucks stranded in austin, no $$ to ship it, dont even what to think about the cost of rebuilding the pump, cause i know theres **** in there as well as the injectors plugged up.

so if anyone in texas is looking to a 12v cheap ive got one

-because this same start up issue was happening with mine, and nothing seemed to fix it
