Default Boost Gauge Problem

Ok so i just bought a set of glowshift 7 color gauges...even though theyre cheap and i should go with something that is a little better quality i didnt. anyway i just installed them according to the instructions and my boost gauge isnt reading at all. it sits at zero whether im idling or WOT. I pulled the bolt by my p pump to run the line. all im curious about is if i have it in the wrong spot. if not i figure its a kink in my line somewhere that isnt letting the gauge get anything

Not sure why everyone misconceives glow shift gauges... I've been running mine for months with 0 problems and love them. As for your boost gauge though yes check your hose for any kinks, also if you used ferrule fittings make sure you didn't over tighten them and pinch the hose off, they only need to be tightened a minor amount to hold the hose in place. Hope this helps.

glow shift is like buying a chinese quad they are cool to watch and mess with for 3 weeks then they break, examples i bought a glowshift tachometer the needed moved so slow i could do a 1-2-3 shift before the needle even caught up me, another is i bought a pyro gauge it broke in less than 2 weeks, ordered a new one it was broke before i even put it on my truck, if you going to spend money on the parts why not dpend an extra 50-100 buks and get some good good quality gauges they look and perform better, and most likely have a warranty

Everyone I know who tried multiple brands of gauges got significantly different readings from their Glowshifts than the others. It's easy to see the pattern. Even when they seem to be working fine... they probably aren't. Better off trusting the idiot lights Dodge put in the dash.

Oh no no... just past finger tight. Quarter-half turn with a wrench. You can also break the internals of mechanical gauges by over tightening, from simply throwing off the calibration to just plain killing the gauge completely.
