Default weird front diff problem

this is my brothers truck. the steering feels like **** and jams up and this was the only thing that didn't look right so I removed the front diff cover to see whats going on. this is on a 93 but the first gen section is slow to respond and front axles are all basically the same so any help is appreciated

Ok, what your experiencing is that one of the manual/or auto hubs is not unlocking all the way .... when you turn the caster in the steering is causing the u-join t to turn slightly .... from what I can tell in the vid..... PM me if you wanna or can send a bigger and better video

Do you have alot of experience with differentials? 2 people on another forum say u joints but I jacked it up and the spun free so I don't think that's it. What you are saying makes more sense

Pull the lockouts and see if that cures it before spending the money.
