4 inch turbo back exhaust w/no muffler

blocked off wastgate line on the turbo so it will boost more ( need a guage for this, much over 30 psi in a stock hx35 is a waste of air.)

#100 fuel plate ground myself

Fully modded afc, (ground the barrel, flipped and ground the cupped washers and dialed in my star wheel and pre-boost screw.. oh and a mack plug sorry I guess I have 7 bucks invested in it..)

homemade cold air intake with a BHAF

I also have 4k gov springs and 60lb valve springs which I got for free off a wrecked donor truck.. so if you can find a deal like that you will be in good shape. Another thing to think about is the tranny...the transmission in that truck is lucky to take the power it has off the assembly line. might want to think about a few upgrades to that before you start throwing much of anything at it.

All mods ultimately lead to more $$$$. just plan your mods around the motor first by protecting the weak links. anything that can kill the mill. KDP fix head gasket maybe even pull it and get some fresh rings then gauges Apply the hydraulic principals to your fuel delivery and the charge fuel ratio and spool time. And make sure what is putting the torque to the wheels can handle the Mods. Budget it out and go to work. Reliable power and respectable service life awaits you and your money.:helloxgo

So on another note, would an hx55 be anything to look into? or should I just stick with a little hx35/40 hybrid... injectors would probably be around the sme time.

an hx55 is a big turbo to light up alone and have a driveable truck. that turbo is much better suited for a set mild twins. and hybrid is a pretty good running little turbo

I have the mods stated above and just installed a set of 6x9's 191 dvs and a 63mm killer b. she goes real good now and im still not really into it for much. the turbo was the most expensive. I got the dv's for 58 bucks a piece new and the injectors for 65 a piece I think.

no need for injectors if you are doing pump tuning and not going bigger than a 35/40. you will max out one of those litte turbos with free mods.

Step up to an s300 like a 62 mm or 63mm and some 5x.012 or go bigger.

And for an s300 or 400 is that a direct bolt on? Or flange adapter for it? Been looking at a s300 to do. And could anyone be a doll and explain to me how a mild set up could happen with like an s300 and 400. Thanks fellas
