Default Intercooler hose popped off

Last weekend i replaced the boot on my fuel shutoff solenoid and when i put my intake back on i forgot to tighten the clamp on the intercooler hose where it connects to the intake I was driving around back in the mountains when it decided to pop off going up a steep hill and i had it mashed to make it home so it was reeeeaaallly dumping the smoke out. It looked like i was driving out of a forest fire. I kept the EGTs under 1200 after i realized what was wrong but i was wondering if this could have caused any damage. One guy said it might have put some fuel into my oil due to the extreme surplus of unburnt diesel. If anybody knows if i should change my oil or if this could cause any problems i would appreciate hearing about it

I wouldn't really worry abut it at all. Wouldn't hurt a thing other then the EGT's getting a little warm while you were climbing the hill, and it would be sucking unfiltered air until the boot was put back on.

All is good ... put boot back on and go about your business ... hard to hurt much on these engines

For future reference put raid hairspray on the insides of your boots before putting them back on, it creates and adhesive and helps hold the boots on better
