ok i bought a new to me truck. 1994 2wd reg long bed cummins auto thats about trashed ok so today i was looking for a fuel leak. Wile looking i found that my truck has no AFC houseing at all just a riged up cover plate thing. when i go to install one what should i look for/do to insure every thing is right ?

Just make sure the rod on the bottom works properly.and sits behind the fuel plate. And you should take off the alan head on the top to amke sure the fuel screw is still in tact and works.

now my ride has 4 inch turbo back stock injectiors hx35 bla bla iam stocks as of now. but soon some injectors and at least 62mm phat shaft . if i stayed no afc thew all this would it hurt to keep it off ?

absolutly your truck is currently way way out of tune. go to the junk yard and swipe you an AFC.

I will be getting some this weekend now with running no plate at this time when I go to installed AFC house should I add one what pros and cons of running with or with out plate

I would get a ETG gauge and see what your exhaust temperatures are with out a plate first. If you can control your ETGs and smoke levels without a plate, then no need to put a plate in.

I hear a #10 plate is a safe plate to start out with if you want one. From there you can modify.

FYI, the plate only controls fueling after the spring in your AFC moves over enough to have your AFC foot touch the pate, which will manly be in WOT runs or getting into the throttle.
