crossdrill the wastegate and they will drop more than that

 

YA I wanted my turbo to last... but its your rig..

 

a bigger down pipe will help also.

 

crossdrilling helps the turbo last longer well worth the time to do it

 

For now, if I were you, Id back off on the starwheel. 1000 degrees is way too hot for 2 psi of boost.

 

ihave the mbrp 4in down pipe on a 5in pipe all the way back

i found i put my pyrometer befor the turbo so i read the temp before it goes into the turbo

i have my pyrometer in before the turbo so before it goes threw the turbo so i hear its normal to have a higher temp read there.

Ya a pre turbo pyro will read hotter than a post pyro because it cools down when it goes thru the turbo

I will have to look into it.

 

its just drilling the wastegate hole to vent all 6 cyl in stock form it only vents the back 3 cyl when the gate opens

 

the back 3 are the hottest runin tho arent they

 

coolent temp they are the hottest yes but egt temp should be close to the same
