do you have a scan tool where you can check trans temp? at 275* od will be inhibited. Might just have a junk temp sensor.

 

I would like to cut the wires and put a 1k resistor in it. Heard that solves the problem. Got a tranny temp on the pod. What are the wire colors and where is the easiest spot to find then

Does anyone know what those wire colors are coming from the tranny temp sensor?

 

I know the resistor trick works on the models with the new style sensor, not sure if it works the same on the older styles. If you wana do it at the pcm its middle connector solid purple wire is the trans temp sensor signal wire.
