Default want to make a 1997 puller

i just bought a 1997 5 speed manuel i want to use to haul a 30,000 pound gooseneck. im wanting 500-750 hp range not exactly sure yet. ive already put a 120hp fuel plate in slid it all the way forward slid the housing all the way foward adjusted the star wheel and smoke screw, gauges, kdp. its a stock clutch but i want to convert it to a G56 6 speed so my questions are what more do i need for fuel? what size trubo, or twins? what motor parts do i need to replace such as vaulve springs, head, head gasket,ect....? what will it take to put the G56 in place of the nv4500? and what clutch should i order? thanks!

It's going to be tough keeping that thing running cool with that much fuel. Twins are a must.

go with a smaller turbine on your primary ... and don't put a g56 in a nv5600 is a much better choice.

Any particular reason why you would want to switch trannys? The 4500 is plenty tough

6 gears dont pull as hard as 5 i drove my cousins 3500 24v that has a smarty pushing 450 with a nv5600 and his 2500 24v same tune with the vn4500 pulling the same load as my 95 automtic with a triple disk tqc and shift kit and the truck with the 6peed seemed like it pulled alot better

Well like they say beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. As for the compounds, it sounds like you havent purchased turbos yet so you might want to consider a kit from BD or II unless you are planning on doing all of the piping and what not yourself. You dont have to replace any engine parts if you dont want to but it wouldnt hurt to throw a GSK and some valve springs in it and bump the timing. If you plan on running a bigger single or the compound setup you should consider studs or an upgrade head bolt like mighty diesels.

the 5600 is longer than the 4500 so the drive shaft will need to be shortened, if you going from an auto you will need another input shaft in your t case will need to be 29 spline. as for the turbine on the primary I would go with the 73 and a 1.1 t6 spools fast makes a great primary for towing
