remove diesel from truck.

Default remove diesel from truck.

I am in the process of removing my motor '95 gen 2 from my dodge. the book i am using says i need to remove the auto trans before i pull the motor. i want to just pull the motor and leave the trans in place. can i do this?

you can leave it in place but
ive never been able to squeak a cummins out without removing the oil pan
usually i am using a 2 post or drive on lift so yanking the trans/tranfer case is a 30 minute deal and clears things out alot

Unless you would like to pull the entire front clip off your truck ... and most likely the oil pan .....

I pulled my motor and installed it without removing the oil pan, just removed the radiator + intercooler and the post where the hood latches in ?
