Default Building a 96 motor for 500 to 600 hp

I have everything I need to get the horsepower I want but I just was thinking should I get a fire ringed head gasket or can I just put a new stock standard size head gasket on it gonna run 3k gsk studs 100 hp injectors ars 4000 turbo later cut DVs 100 plate 16.5 timing any input would be great thanks

If your gonna tear it down you might as well spend the money and fire ring it and get some good head studs if your planning on making big power down the road. Based on the parts you have listed I'd say you will be no where near 600hp tho. That's almost identical to the setup I'm building right now (4kgsk, custom plate, more timing) and Ive read and been told that I'll be lucky to make 450. Could be wrong tho

I just dyno'ed mine at 359 hp. 820ft/lbs

and that was on the stock 1994 160 hp injectors (smallest)

I was way overfueled. If I had taken the time to defuel, I could have made more power. Perhaps closer to 400.

I think you need to pick and choose your modifications better...
