Identify 60 lb Exh Springs-Different size from stock?
Hello,
This is my first question, although I lurk around here a bit.
I bought a 96 Dodge 3500 with a 12v recently and it already has a exhaust brake installed. I am going to put a 4k GSK in the pump and I intended to replace intake and exhaust valve springs. I wondered if the springs had already been replaced on the exhaust side since it has a exhaust brake so I took of the #1 valve cover and inspected them.
The exhaust spring is definitely larger in diameter than the intake.
Are the stock intake and exhaust springs different in size? If not, then I know that I already have 60lb exh springs and only need to replace the intakes....
Thanks a bunch

If the truck had an exhaust brake there is a 99.99% chance it already has the heavy exhaust springs. If it did not, the brake would have very little hold back.
