Default trading for a first gen?

i have the chance to trade my 96 even for a 1993 first gen 5 speed. this particular 1st gen was my first diesel ever and i kick myself in the *** everyday for selling it. and the guy wants to trade me. it is mint shape with a lot of motor work done. im strongly considering it... input?

1996 2500 ext cab long bed. mostly stock just a fuel plate and pump tuning with a boost elbow. auto, bodys in good shape.
trade even for:
1993 single cab long bed 5 speed with a hybrid turbo fuel pin completly rebuilt pump injectors 4 inch exhuast and a mint body candy apple red.
how much more do you need

personal preference at that point man. both rigs have high miles value will be similiar. if the older truck is partially restored and the 2nd gen is just a beat up old truck then i would prolly opt for the 1st gen myself.
