Hey guys would i be able to tell if there was unleaded gas in my 12v i have a egt gauge so wouldnt it run hotter are anything. I just fear people putting stuff in my tank . Any input on a sweet locking gas door i found a nice cap a door would be cool to.

I've read that horror story from some unfortunate people a few times. Run rough. Smoke white.

 

ok cool i needed to know i fear grabbing that wrong nozzle let alone the gas stations puting unleaded into the diesel tanks .

 

If some cow chip put gasoline in the diesel tanks, they are responsible for all the damage. Pick up this month's diesel power magazine. It has an article on accidentally putting gas in your diesel.

 

ya i got that magazine the other day thats why i wanted to know if i would be able to know if i were to get non diesel.

 

If you want it, I have a locking cap with the key you can have for 5 bucks. I think I can just mail it.

 

I *heard* that up to about 10% doesn't cause damage.. can't vouch for it though...
