My brother gave up his first truck yesterday, and got a better one!!
My brother gave up his 95 dodge single cab dually with a 12 valve yesterday. He traded it to a guy that had $500 dollars and a 96 dodge dually. His old truck had nearly 340k on it, and his new one has 38X,XXX.His old truck was a good runner, but had some stuff he no longer wants. His old one was a single cab, had an auto tranny, and had a torn up factory bed on it. He has a guy wanting to hire him for hauling hay, so my brother wanted a manual. The truck he traded for is Hunter green, but is without a dent anywhere. It still has 95 percent of its clear coat, unlike his old one, and his new one has a SWEET hauler bed and a BIG full replacement bumper on the front. Interior has typical dodge dash and seat tear, but is mostly descent. He especially likes the club cab.
His plans
New starter
Lose the ugly diamond plate step rails
Front end alignment
Mud tires
Paint the wheels black
Real tree seat covers and floor mats
Repaint bed
Pioneer stereo
Straight piped exhaust and resonator tip
Tint windows
Removed the turbo silencer ring already
Upgraded intake and filter
(Possibly) Upgraded clutch when this one gives

He also used his old truck to tow his new one home from abilene to lubbock. Pulling it home on a 20 foot bumper pull was scary. Front end was a bit scary, so drove 45 the whole way. I did get to drive two of the previous owners stick shift trucks to help get the club cab on the trailer. I also had to strap down the truck to the trailer. I am 14.
