Default Damn I feel dumb

Just went to napa to pick up a fuel filter for my brothers 98 and they bring it down and it looks like a 24v filter (cartridge style) and I tell them it's wrong and it looks kinda like a oil filter but I just got back and it turns out the 98 12v takes the same filter as 98 24v and they also gave me the wrong battery cable so I have to go back and I have to admit I was wrong I hate getting parts for 98 12v

It does make things pretty interesting. I ran into the same issue getting a trans filter once.

Valve cover gaskets are different also, he just went to the dealer to get a set and they were like 8 bucks a piece and better yet they say MADE IN USA on the box and I open them up and they say made in India they are just a little bit larger as far as I can tell
