Anyone know if a 2500 frame is the same as a 3500 frame? my 95 frame cracked I have an extra 96 2500 kickin around was thinking of swaping over the axels and dump any input on this?

idk how it cracked but its right under neither the drives side door the more ive been driving it the worse its becomeing.. its been a plow truck its whole life.. when i got it i was scraping and banging rust scale off for days so im sure its all paper thin! but at least i can just either swap out the frame or swap over the body!! maybe just switch vin tags

I'm in massachusetts.. gonna start tearin down the 2500 after thanksgivin i have a bunch of parts on order also guages exhaust some new gsks springs.. fig i might as well pep up the old girl!
