oil gauge normal or not

hey i got a 96 12v and my oil gauge moves up and down between the 2nd line and 40 line is this normal the more gas i give it the higher it gets.

Mine does the same thing I asked that a ling tine ago noons could give me a answer

i guess as long as my oil level is good no problem.
