i have bought a he 351ve and the adapter to put it on my 12 valve. i have everything to bolt it on and make it go but as for the adjustable vanes i am lost, i have been looking around at forums and sites and it is un clear how i need to make it work mechanically, if i just knew what needed to happen with it i could fab something up. if anyone has any knowledge of this anything helps thanks:

 

the ones i have seen have a wastegate acuator rigged up inplace of the electronic section so the vanes move in reference with manifold pressure.

 

so if i used a w/g . the boost pressure would open the vanes for more flow when you need it? so ill have to play with it to see how open i set it at when i have no boost

 

from how i understant it. and a spring pulls thing back closed when boost is low.
