I'm back boys & girls...
Hey all, it's been a while...
But the Cummins Viking is back, and now i'll be uploading tons of pictures in the next weeks...
As some of you already know, i've got a 1995/6 230pump truck, as listed in my signature..
But the body was giving up, since it has tons of miles...
So now the frame and body from it is being used as a engine stand, to work on my motor...
I was going to install my stuff into my GMT800 truck but the guy who bought it from me bailed out on selling it back to me so i just found a 1500 RAM that i will install my stuff in...
So here's a pic:
My question is how much difference is in the 1500 frame and the 2500 frame...
I've been reading different things, 1500 short box, reg cab is supposed to be different, while the 1500 ex.cab short box (like mine) should have the same frame, it's just the running gear that differs... does this make sense ?
From what i've read the Cummins will bolt right in...
oh' and for the love of god.... where do i get a cable operated front axle actuator?
why did they ever try to have vacuum operate this ?
