recently found this truck and it literally looks emaculate, im a classic gm guy who likes the durability of the cummins engine without all that dodge gift wrapping around and finally i have a chance to get one thats already done. the guy want 12000 but i was thinking more along the lines of 8500. can anyone tell me what they think its worth? also i dont know much about mild built cummins so is what he did good or bad what approximate hp he also said the fuel plate is off. i just dont want to buy a cummins thats goinna blow up because somebody thought they were a diesel tech slapped a few things on and didnt have a clue on what to upgrade. any input would be nice thanks! i can also put up pictures if somebody tells me how to, thanks again guys! oh and heres the ad.

1985 chevrolet 3500 with 12 valve cummins

This is a 1985 Chevy Cab with a 1 ton frame and axles. Dana 60 front and 14 Bolt rear both with detroit lockers. Truck has a 1995 12 valve P-Pumped cummins with a NV4500 5 speed transmission with a southbend dual disk clutch. Has DDP injectors and delivery vales, 110 LB Valve Spring, 4,000 RPM GOV Springs, HTT 2.6 Turbo, ATS 3 piece exhaust manifold, Fireringed and studded head by Haisly Machine, water/methanol installed, FASS Fuel System, Has upgraded outer shafts in dana 60 and 1410 driveline out the rear, All Autometer gauges, Mickey Thompson 36x15.5 tires on 18" rims, Frame was sandblasted and repainted professionally 3 yrs ago, This is a strong and powerful truck. Sounds like a beast of a build man! It all depends on how the body looks and interior. Sounds like hes had all professionally installed upgrades. Id say if you can get it for $8500, then you stole that truck. Even a dodge with those upgrades on a 12v like that the guy would still probly want 14,000 or better. If you can get it for less than $10k, then IMO you got a deal.
