1100 miles since install, seems to regen every 150 miles or so, lasts about 8-9 miles but mileage drops for an additional 25-30 miles before recovering. Even with this my ave is up from the pre-edge (7000 miles) 13.2 mpg to 16.8mpg (1100 miles) running 70 to 75mph. Not many miles with it but like the trend so far.

Regen is when the truck adds a 3rd injection event on exhaust stroke to shoot fuel into exhaust to enhance soot burnoff in DPF. On my truck it was costing about 2 gallons per 150 miles. Al Gore tax. These estimates are from similar runs on hwy, when the Edge shows regen and the corresponding drop from overhead mpgs when compared to same trips when truck did not go into regen. The mpg's were all hand calculated. I don't know how to be anymore accurate and may be off slightly but feel these numbers are close. I now have gotten rid off the dpf and mpg's are up from ave of 13.2 to 17.3

Blue, what kit did you use to rid your truck of the DPF?? Did you ditch the cat as well?? I have a homebuilt kit waiting for my truck when it gets here, but I have some doubts about it. Looking for some info...

thanks

Update on Edge. first day in weeks without strong winds. 157.7 mile trip @ 70 mph cruise control. 8.3 gallons - 18.95mpg. Ran Edge on level 5 extreme for first time. Egts stayed 850-1050 range. Mileage setting is joke, try the upper levels when on 6.7. There was about 20 miles of city driving but rest was hwy. filled back up at same pump facing same direction
