Default Trouble with exhaust installation

I'm helpin one of my friends install a silverline dual exhaust on his uncle's 06 duramax. We have managed to get it all pretty well put together but on the tail pipes we are having trouble with them hitting off the frame, shocks or the leaf springs. The directions we got with the kit are worthless. Is there any secret to getting them right or some where I could get better instructions?

Well we got it done after spending 3 evenings laying on the ground. It does look and sounds good but is not a simple bolt on kit it takes some modifying to get.
