Default Coolant leaking From Block & turbo upgrade

Has anyone had coolant leaking from the passenger side of the block?? it seems to be leaking between the head and the block!! I'm thinking maybe a blown head gasket..I pulled an oil sample and sent it off and it came back negative on the glycol and my engine wear is good shape..Also what time i have my engine torn apart to do a turbo upgrade..What turbo should i go with, without doin internal engine upgrades??

gt4094va will flow more than the stock turbo without needing a built engine, and its a direct swap VGT turbo

as for the leaking coolant it could be head gaskets... if so thats a 30 hour job

Default Fixed the Problem

Hey man i appreciate the info..I found my coolant leak..It was a hose about 5" long right under the turbo intake..I applied pressure to the system and found that was leaking and running down right where i thought the head gasket had blowed out from in between the block and the head..I fixed in about an hour..Wasn't easy to get to but its now fixed!!

Default LBZ coolant leak

I saw your post about the coolant leak you repaired on your LBZ. I have a leak that sounds identical to yours. I have been trying to figure out where the coolant is coming from and it looks like it is coming out of the block at the head gasket on the passenger's side just above the starter. You said you found a 5" hose that was leaking in that area. Could you explain to me where the hose is and how to locate it? This is my first diesel vehicle and could use some help in locating the hose that was your problem. Thank you very much.

p0093 - Large fuel system leak detected

have you checked your crank case to see if you're making oil? or have you checked to see if you're leaking fuel anywhere?
