you could go with a transgo which basically a shift kit, but want take much more horse power than a stocker, if you are looking to add more than say 110 hp, playing rough, going with bigger tires, and not having to worry about the trans, look into a suncoast or simular tranny rebuild. post an add in the vendor section asking for tranny upgrade kits. someone will hook you up.

The Trans Jr Increases line pressure for the 4-5-6 shifts. It will hold level 4 on a PPE which is 225 eng HP. If your gonna get after it and can afford the coin I would do the SC IV .

I always recommend Mike L of Inglewood Transmission one of the best Allison builders.

I know of one off the top of my head! The other depends on what you want your truck goals, and how much your able to spend. Then there is the issue if you want to install it your self, or have a shop near by that knows the allison, and the builder of the transmission your having made. The cost starts at $5,000. If your going for an all out transmission a dependable, durable torque converter will be in need! I know of two builders off the top of my head, that can build the best! other then that I am sure one of these venders could help you with a suncost, or any other typ of transmission upgrade kits. PM me if you need to know.

A trans jr will increase the pressure, but will my tranny also stop slipping whenever I punch on the throttle or no? whats the SC IV? Ya a stronger tranny would be the best way to go, but it won't be for a year or 2 til I get the money to get one, for the mean time what could I do to beef up my alison transmission and stop or help it from slipping?anybody know some upgrades I can do on my stock tranny for a lil bit of money?

Fresh oil and trans filter if it is starting to slip. your starting to reach the threashold, just be easy on it. Not much as far as modifications unless rebuilding the thing. Keep doing your home work on the transmission you might be able o figgure it out, and just understand that when you creat more power and enhance the mods with tunes, the allisons learning curve software tends to eat the transmission alive. A shift kit (that was mentioned by jbrown) might help a little, and increasing pressure with a trans jr (mentioned by BlackDX) is another good start. Remember if it is already slipping the damage has just begun.
