Default Stackssss... need some suggestions

Just bought 2 7" black stacks on craigslist for my 07 LBZ. got a really good deal on them and i cant make up my mind if i want to go single or duals.

Now ive heard that a single would be a little louder than duals?? that true?

depends on what you're going for i think, one stack to me usually means I have a ton of power and just put the stack on for drag race/sled pull purposes, two stacks usually says I want the looks of a big rig and want the loudest exhaust possible, personally I like the look of a single 8" mitre cut kinda off center towards the passenger side, but that's just me

Do something unique with it. Yea you have two 7s but put them on in a different configuration than normal. at scheids 09 I saw a obs pstroke that had 2 miters with the cut facing the sides and he had them close together so it came to a tall peak in the middle of the cab. It looked different but I liked it.

Or just do the normal dual setup cuz it just looks sweet ha

I'd do single. Honestly, I think there are very few trucks that look decent with dual stacks because so many of them aren't proportional. Now, if it does look proportional, go for it.
Single could also look bad but then again, not making it look too big or too small is what makes it look fine.

my single was a six inch, it was different but it didnt look right having one big stack in the bed, i got dual five inch and i didnt run them ta the bed side completely and i love it, im also doing what bronco said im putting my miter cuts ta the out side so it has that peak....when i get the time

I also agree about the being proportional part. If you have like dual 12s that wouldnt look good but I usually like a 6 or 7 but sometimes they look big.
