Default 72 chevy

I'm getting a military bonus and im gonna throw a 6.6 duramax in my 72 chevy c30 to keep it a bowtie and have an allison behind it but if i start bombin it what rearend would be the best to hold all the torque and hp?? i wanna try and make it a lil hotrod and drag it mainly so if anyone has any ideas id appreciate em!! Thanks!!

if you can get ahold of a aam11.5 for the rear its the same as they run in the rear for sock dmaxes.

but if you want to hotrod it 9 inch it and tub the bad boy out

Thanks yeah i figured a 9 inch but wasnt too sure haha i wanna put some injectors, turbo maybe twins i aint sure then my injection pump and oil pump well be switched out prolly a programmer and chip stack idk what else to do if i do all that any suggestions on what i should do to it keeping it under 20k in price

well you dont need to stack programers and chips, just get efi live.

you can go with a lbz block and rods and find some delipped lb7 pistons, get them cryo treated and it will be pretty cheap and also good for enough power. if you want upgraded rods then u can go with crowers

Don't forget about doing a tranny upgrade also.
