I just got my Triple dog in and am very happy with it. With a 10 psi launch, with it on performance it'll break all four loose, very impressive. I'll be happy.......... for a little while anyways.

That’s what we like to hear, but running it on kill I hope you’re saving up for the Trans too.

The performance is the middle setting, I think its around 85 hp. I should be all right with that, providing I dont pound it all the time, but its kinda hard not to. Someday when I can afford it I'll do more.

If you hit it hard at highway speeds you will no doubt limp your tranny eventually on the 85 HP setting.

Yes 5 & 6 gear you really have to watch when you get on in those gears too most limp when it kicks down a gear.

What are guys doing to compensate for this? I would be willing to spend a little, but at this point dont want to do anything major with the tranny.

Drop the power level stock is the only safe bet, but some people get away with 120 HP for a couple of years before they have problems other weeks. I think you can get a 3-disk converter (maybe you could even find a used one) and transgo installed for starting around $2000 and that is good for 450 RWHP.

In your case I would look into the transgo Jr. kit.
