Can installing an LBZ be bad for an LLY????
And....
Can having an EGR blocker be bad????

Neither of those would be 'bad' if done right.

And just to make sure you know, neither the LLY nor LBZ have an EGR.

WRONG!!!!!!!! even some LB7's(california emissions trucks) have EGR's!!!!!!

There will be no negative effects to changing the mouthpiece, or blocking the EGR, you're probably going to hurt you engine if you don't block the EGR

Oops, forgot about those emissions crazy liberals.

Is it correct though that ALL duramax's had EGRs starting with the LMM or did they start before that?

the LLY was the first series for all engines to have an EGR, the 07.5 LMM is the first series to have the DPF in the exhaust

EGR blocker plate and a banks finger stick will take care of ya Probably the first upgrade anyone should do to an LLY

Ha ha no Scott they do not make the finger stick, thank you for the correction. To be honest Im not sure why I said banks there. Actually who does make it? One or multiple manufacturers?
