I'm doing an LBZ Kodiak MP, personally i think its the best choice when it comes to MP mod. i say this because it doesnt have the resinator port and if you re-route the PCV then you only have to block one port instead of both the res and the PCV. plus the more ports you have in your MP = more turbulance in the MP, so i feel you would get better air flow. I also think the Kodiak is better cause it is shorter than the LBZ and if you so choose, you can use the stock intake tube at its stock length. me, i think im going to cut it any way just to make it look better but, thats just me. but i am a crazy fellow, i am also planing on moding the intake with an aftermarket filter, removing the stock air box. this will force me to move the MAS, but i figure moving it back 3 inches wont effect it, causeing the truck to throw a code. but we'll see, when i get all the parts for it, i am going to do a write up on it on here with pics and everything, so LOL stay tuned. Oh also another positive i see when it comes to purchaseing your new MP is that the AFE Bladerrunner is about $225 vs the Kodiak which is $93. and if my calculations are correct i should see the same if not better results. also i am moding the stock exhaust, by cutting the cat and muffler out. this should remove all the restrictions in the exhaust causeing the EGT's to drop and causeing the turbo to spool faster. but hey we'll see

Dont have any experiance with the EGR blocker but its on my list of things to do, from what i gather from all the forums i check and the info from the manufacture sinister diesel, the EGR blocker is a very benificial upgrade. It helps your engine alot and it also may help with turbo spool, (not by much, LOL not going to feel it in the seat) but any thing that forces the Exhaust through the turbo rather than other places should help with turbo spool.
