egr block off question

Default egr block off question

i am just wondering if i block my egr and it throws a code will it affect the running of the truck or will it just keep the check engine light on i straight piped it with no codes or problems of any kind and i want to block my egr and reroute my pcv and dont really wanna have to buy a finger stick thanks for any input

Mine threw codes and derated. But its a CA emissions truck. I used the blocker plate and PPE Xcellerator to block the codes. Recently I just welded up the ports on the intake manifolds. (see pic). As far as the PVC reroute that won't throw any codes. I would use the kit from All Seasons Diesel Peformance.

i blocked my egr with no codes. if you have the fe9 model truck it shouldnt throw a code. check in your glove box for it.
