Default installed my ppe

installed my ppe standard today. it takes a lil time to do it but wow it is worth it. im glad i listened to everyone. ditched the banks system and installed the ppe programer. what a difference of night and day. my only thing is i just dont know what the best seting would be to run yet and i have a bad feeling that this programmer is goin to get me into some trouble, there just such a power difference. i just cant get over it. thanks everyone for the advise as to what i should get. and it was bought from one of the dealers here on db...

Told you "you would like". Enjoy more power but be careful with high settings. Also make sure the defuel between shifts is on that will help save the tranny.

I loved the smoke from lvl 5 on the stock truck but once i did the exhaust and intake i cleaned up alot. Just from experience dont use lvl 5 and have it pull hard in OD. I got to about 6 pounds of boost and the convertor let go. I run around at lvl 2 it still jerks shifting into OD. If you know your going to be hard on it turn OD off.

well i have full exhaust and intake on the truck and i dought i run lvl 5 until i upgrade "cant afford the trans to come apart right now" or right before i upgrade the trans, but i am going to test lvl 4 out tonight. most likely im goin to leave it at lvl 3 after i play with it some tonight.

It will work just make sure you run the tranny through the relearn cycle every time you change power levels. Get out there and have some fun with it.
