Sounds like a bad ballast. Unplug one at a time and see if it makes a difference. Let us know.

Default hid fogs

I tried unplugging one at a time no good. I tried grounding them rite to the ballast box itself no good. They are mounted to the underside of the radiator support right above the fog lights.Same place as my wifes Yukon XL. Both units came from VVME.com

When you unplug both does the radio clear up? I don't have hid but I have experienced static in my AM radio lately and it bothers me. I live pretty far from the broadcast antenna but it never used to do this before.

Do you hear it only when they are "warming up" or is it all the time even after say maybe 10 minutes? I have HID's in my Highs, Lows, and Fogs in my '03 and have not had a problem like this.
