Sweet truck Steve...looks great, I too grew up on GM and even Ford for quite a while, but after burning up 3 6.5's in a row I switched and Dodge has never given me a reason to switch back, but I still love the GMC's...

 

I had a 6.5l aswell and i put 200,000 miles on it. I lost a couple injection pumps and that was about it. The truck performed great aslong as you didn't tow much LOL. I like the truck so far, the proof will be when i tow junk this summer.
