i'd like to know as well. I drive on the highway a lot. it all depends on how much fuel it would save vs. cost of unit.

I run one with 40k GCVW and the only problems I have had is the rear seal leaks, this is the 3rd seal I have put in and the solenoid is leaking out of the weep hole, but still works.

Don't back a big load up hill, change the oil every 5000 miles (I use Amsoil Synthetic Manual Transmission and Transaxle Gear Lube 75W-900), let off the throttle to shift it especially when towing and don't engage it with an exhaust brake. It will last as long as mine at 96k.

Before it I was getting an average of 10.5 mpg hand calculated empty 70 mph with the 6.0. It brought the RPM from 2547 in 5th down to 1973 in 5th over at 70 mph. Then I was getting an average of 14.5 mpg empty. Now I'm getting an average of 15.7 mpg empty with the 5.9 and NV5600.

My RPM's went up to 2044 at 70 mph in 6th over. If I put some 36" 22.5 wheels I can bring it down to 1817 6th over and still have 2327 in 6th or 2487 in 5th over. I think the Cummins would be real happy there for a 9500 lbs truck with 6th over, but still be able to pull heavy in 6th or 5th over.
