Default Injector O-Rings

I have a 1999 Ford F350 super duty 7.3 Hear is my problem. I replaced the injector o-rins back in Jan. as I was told they needed to be replaced as the truck was burning oil. well it worked until now . The truck started to use oil again so I thought I would check the injectors I pulled the injectors and found that number 1 and 2 the center o-ring looked like it was eaten up by something. the rest started to show wear on the center o-ring The top and bottom o-ring was fine. Can someone help me and tell me why the o-rings would go bad in just a couple months.

Probably weren't seated properly or there's something funky in your oil. What kind are you using?

...need to make sure to replace the copper washer at the tip and the bore is clean or it will do what you describe
