Default hard start cold or warm

Hey all I am new to the site. I just got a 99 f250 CC 4x4 power stroke. And I am having some starting issues. It doesn't matter what the out side temp is warm or cold nor dose the temp of the motor matter. I have already checked oil level in both crank case and hpop. I have also checked for codes and there are none.

Here is a video I found and my truck is doing the exact same thing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zOC...e_gdata_player

If you notice the oil pressure comes up right before the truck starts. The truck runs perfect after it fires up.

Any help would be great.
Thanks
Derrick

ok so i replaced the cps, fuel filter, oil change today. it still didnt fix the problem. But the truck dose start even if the oil pressure is not up. plus the tach dosnt move untill the truck starts. I tried starting the truck after it was warm with out letting the glow plugs warm up and it started alot faster, dont know if that has any thing to do with it or not.

I also just tried un pluging the icp and the it didn;'t help the truck wouldnt even fire

did you do the basics such as checking the batteries separately? what are your cranking rpms? the pcm will not allow the injectors to fire unless it cranks atleast 125 rpms!
by the way the video doesn't work

No that was just a video I found that the truck was doing the same thing as mine. I don't have a scan tool that will data log. The starting rpm is some where between 200-350. I have checked every thing I can think of. Is it possible maby the fuel pump is getting weak??

yes low fuel pressure could cause a long crank and low power usually accompanied by white smoke from the exhaust
