Dump all the fuel out of the tank, replace with new.
Hope you didnt *** up the injectors with bad fuel. Have you checked the oil? Changed it? Check the HPO res level as well. |

He changed the oil shortly after he got it. He added a can of seafoam to each tank, and when it runs it sounds great does not miss or smoke. i will check the oil in the hpop. It just is really strange how it up and quits just like you turn the key off. Could the cam sensor possibly cause problems?

Diesel takes a LONG time to go bad and is often stored for 15-20 years and still isn't bad, I highly doubt thats the cause of the issues.

Never run sea foam. It take all the lubricity out of the fuel and will destroy your injectors.

Seafoam is petroleum based and is lubricative.. I've used it on a few diesels and lots of gassers. Seafoams website even has a section answering questions on diesels and says it's safe

So do you guys think it might be the cam sensor causing the problem? when i hook the scan tool up it just says vehicle not responding. I talked to a ford mechanic and he said that it probably had not been reprogramed to scan.
