i think dealers are just wanting your money i have replaced both oil and egr cooler i called elite diesel and they where straight forward by telling me the egr cooler is the down fall of the 6.0 they have all kinds of diferent solutions to help you and the also have oil coolers to. if you run any type of programmer on a 6.0 call elite i did and my truck hadn't had problems since and i 'am putting 510 hp to the rear wheels
