Default HELP!! EGR problem!

Ok guys I am new to this page. I have a 2006 6.0L f350 powerstroke.
I have done an egr bypass and I am throwing a Cel. Need help please. Sick of this cel light being on!!
When I scan it it says egr bad flow. But it is bypassd with block off plate.
Truck runs like craps first thing in morning. If I clear code comes back within 10 miles of driving.
Please help!!
Thanks in advance.

Did you get tuner to delete egr? You have to plug egr valve into harness or use tuner to delete

It's plugged in still. I didn't delete it I just bypassed it. That's why I'm having a hard time figuring out why I'm throwin a Cel for flow? I can't figure it out. It's still plugged in an all.. but bypassed with block off plate.

'Cause your running a 2006. The PCM easily recognizes the EGR issue throwing a CEL. You will require a tuner or a custom PCM.

On the 2005 and newer 6.0's you have to "chip" it to turn the light off. It can detect insufficient EGR flow from the exhaust backpressure reading. When the EMC commands the EGR valve open it should lower exhaust back pressure. If it doesn't it will throw the code for insufficient EGR flow and your CEL will come on. By doing an egr delete its right, there is NO egr flow haha which is what you want. Hope that helps and makes sence.
