I'm gettin a glow plug control module code. 217k on truck. Is this a common problem? Runs just a lil rough in the morning. And doesn't start as easy as it used to. Could this be due to the module? Engine light comes right back up after I clear it.

 

Yes, it could be because of the module.
I had cold start issues when mine was bad. It put out white smoke and ran rough until it was warmed up.

Mine was warranty replaced by Ford, so I can't help there.
