Default 2004 F250 6.0

I have a 2004 F250 i bought a month ago, has egr delete kit installed, truck starts and runs really well but like i have been reading on internet, I have the wonderful truck gets to running tempature and i shut it off will not start back. I have been reading on Internet that the most common with the 2004 6.0 is the HPOP, i don't have anyway to hook to a computer to check it . I had to shoot a little starting fluid in it tonight to get it to start so i wasn't standed in the rain i know thats not a good thing but couldn't be standed in the cold. any suggestions or should i just tear it down and put the HPOP fitting update kit on it??

Are you getting any codes.
i'd say we need to see if any codes are active, Then go from there. Don't start dumping a bunch of money into your truck. It could be something simple.

update i had a guy run codes, just egr codes from where the Egr is deleted, then started truck said its a high pressure oil leak my truck is later model 04, so i guess my next best bet would be run a pressure test to try and find leak, he is saying could be in dummy plugs or stand pips

Good place to start looking, sounds like he is familiar with 6.0. A good tech and a scan tool can save a lot of guessing.
