Anyone have experience with their dash transmission temp gauge dropping to cold while running then the read out flashes check transmission temp and tow haul light comes off and on at the sametime? Then the gauge would go back to normal then back to cold several times. Finally check engine light has come on and not gone off. Problem still occurs once the truck is warmed up and running about 10 miles. 2005 6.0L

 

First check is temp sending unit . . It's in the pan near valve body. .easy fix
