Default HELP...START AND IDLE FINE, FUEL FILTER LIGHT COMES ON DURING ACCELERATION...DIES

7.3 IDI STARTS AND IDLES OK...BUT WHEN I TRY TO DRIVE DOWN ROAD FUEL FILTER LIGHT COMES ON AND ENGINE DIES......SEEMS LIKE ITS SUCKING AIR, NEW FUEL PUMP, NEW INJECTOR PUMP, NEW RETURN LINES...NOW WHAT?

in the tanks.


also just cause it is a new pump doesnt mean anything. need to check fuel pressure at the fuel filter. should be around 7 psi.

More problems..leaking fuel from heating element on top of filter housing...replaced o rings but fuel leaking through the middle of plastic..just ordered new one..set back $180...still seems to be sucking air..could it be in crossover for the dual tanks?

there is no crossover for the tanks. get all your leaks fixed first. any leak, feed or return side, will cause air intrusion and running issues.
